This session will be taught by Alma Valdez Brown, who has worked with LiftFund since February 2008. As Senior Business Development Officer, she has helped many business owners with loans and technical assistance. One of the biggest roles she plays with business owners is as a resource to them. If they need business advice, help with financials, reading a credit report, or an introduction to another service, Alma does that. She continues to keep in touch with clients to help them stay successful. She belongs to local Chambers and organizations that focus on small business development and education. Alma was named the 2016 Financial Services Champion of the Year by the Small Business Administration regional office.
